On February 10th members of the Riverhead Ambulance participated in the Surge-Ex Drill hosted by South Country Ambulance. This drill was not only designed to test the readiness of the the ambulance company's and fire departments that participated but also the hospital and its staffs readiness. Hand on training such as the this are imperative to preparing our members for a real life mass casualty incident.

This training is a testament to the dedication of the volunteers not only in Riverhead but throughout Long Island.
