Today was non-stop for us at Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance! We had the privilege of working alongside our fire department family multiple times throughout the day.

🚁 First up—they assisted us with a helicopter transport, ensuring a smooth and safe transfer.

🔥 Next, we returned the favor, standing by at a working structure fire. Huge credit to Riverhead Fire Department for their quick and efficient work in extinguishing the house fire before it could spread!

🚗 And just when we thought we were done, we needed their help for a heavy rescue on the expressway, where a patient was trapped in their vehicle. As always, they answered the call without hesitation.

🚑 A big thank you to Manorville Ambulance, who came out and helped us cover calls while we were tied up with the fire standby and the heavy rescue. We truly appreciate the extra hands!

👀 So… are we next? It’s days like these that remind us how strong our bond is with our local fire department and neighboring EMS agencies. They are truly the best fire department on the island!
