🚨 Traffic Alert – Motor Vehicle Accident 🚨

Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps, along with the Riverhead Police Department and Riverhead Fire Department, is currently on the scene of a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 58 at the intersection of Northville Turnpike.

Expect heavy traffic delays in the area as emergency crews work to clear the scene. Please use alternate routes and proceed with caution if traveling nearby.

Most importantly, watch out for our responders working in the road. Slow down, move over, and help keep them safe!

I saw this accident first hand as I was on Northville Pike heading north. Driver from blue car was attempting to turn south on Northville turnpike when struck from behind with suck force I don’t understand. Only know this car nearly struck me waiting for the light to change. Both drivers seemed to be ok, but I was so shakened, I could not speak. Hope everyone is ok.
